Pike County 5-Minute Brief · September 2026

Pittsfield Fall Festival returns this weekend

For 16 years, the Forshey family, volunteers and local supporters have spent months behind the scenes bringing one of Pittsfield's biggest community weekends together.

This year's Pittsfield Fall Festival runs September 3–5, and despite the construction downtown, organizers say the square is ready.

Thursday kicks off with opening ceremonies and pageants. Friday brings more pageants and Lions Club rides. Then comes Saturday.

Saturday on the square

  • 100+ vehicles expected for the Hooligan Havoc Car Show
  • 11 AM — Fall Festival Parade
  • 11 AM–4 PM — Petting zoo
  • 5:30 PM — S.H.A.R.C. reunion show
  • 7–9 PM — Jukebox Reloaded
  • 30+ vendors around the courtyard

More than a car show

This year's Hooligan Havoc Car Show will benefit Griffin Roig and his family as Griffin continues to face significant medical challenges and future procedures. The Hooligans select a community recipient each year, with this year's proceeds going to Griffin's family to help with his medical needs.

See you on the square

Grab something to eat, walk through the car show, catch the parade, listen to some music and spend a little time with your neighbors. Sometimes the best weekend plans are right here at home.
